SFBUDOCS DOCINFO.DOC

.ZIP Authentication
-------------------
SFBUDOCS.FRG was created by a registered copy of PKZIP 1.10. The
original .ZIP file and exact duplicates carry the author's Authenticity
Verification stamp, and are encrypted using the password SILIFROG. To
unZIP SFBUDOCS.FRG, use the following command:
PKUNZIP -sSILIFROG SFBUDOCS.FRG
when PKUNZIP uncompresses SFBUDOCS.FRG, each filename should be
followed by the -AV indicator, and the following line should be
displayed as the program terminates:
Authentic Files Verified! # VDK942 The Silicon Frog
If unZIPping your copy of SFBUDOCS.FRG did not produce the above
message, it is not a copy of the original, and the author cannot
guarantee the completeness and integrity of its contents. If
you wish to receive an original set of SFBU distribution files,
send $5 (US currency or check in US funds) to:
Dan Moore
1514 South Drive
Columbus, IN 47203
Please indicate which type of medium you prefer (5.25", 360K diskette
or 3.5", 720K diskette). The original files will be mailed to you
within 24 hours of receipt of your request.
NOTE: some bulletin board systems automatically unZIP all files
uploaded to them, scan the contents for virus -- as well as to
remove other bulletin board's ads (while including their own in
the process). Although this practice is not harmful in and of
itself, it destroys the integrity of any .ZIP file which had been
originally created by the software's author and carried his/her
.ZIP authentication stamp (-AV). The two-level .ZIP system used
in the various SFBU*.ZIP distribution files prevents automatic un-
ZIPping of the *real* file, since it is renamed and encrypted.
Distribution Files
------------------
SFBU consists of the following three files:
SFBUPGMS.ZIP The SFBU Programs
SFBUDOCS.ZIP The SFBU Documentation
SFBUSHOW.ZIP The SFBU Screen Shows
These three files are also distributed in a single, larger file called
SFBU.ZIP. Altogether, these files take up over 500k of disk space.
If downloading all of the files requires too much time, or one of the
files is not available, consider getting a set of originals, as
described above.

File Date and Time Stamps
-------------------------
All original SFBU release 1.0 files are dated 01-01-1991 and are
timestamped 01:00. Maintenance releases of these files will have the
same date, and the minute field of their timestamp will contain the
minor product release number.
Printing the Documentation
--------------------------
All documentation files (except this DOCINFO.DOC) may be copied
directly to a printer which supports standard formfeeds and the IBM
extended character set. If your printer is attached to the LPT1: port,
you may print the documentation by typing the following DOS command:
C:>COPY xxxxxxxx.DOC LPT1:
Make sure that your printer is ready, aligned, and is loaded with
8.5"x11" paper before you start.
The PRTDOC Program
------------------
If your printer does not support IBM extended graphic characters, you
may use the PRTDOC program, which can optionally translate graphic
characters to lower ASCII characters acceptable to your printer.
PRTDOC also allows you to stop and resume printing at a later time, in
the event you do not have sufficient time to print the entire file in
one sitting. For additional information, refer to PRTDOC.DOC.
Thank you.
